From the beginning, Glover immersed himself in competition and quickly tasted success. Although mainly competing in the featherweight division, he courageously stepped into the absolute (open weight) division, an arena not commonly explored by featherweights. This bold move paid off, as Glover accumulated several absolute medals and titles over the years. One notable victory came against Mike Fowler at the prestigious Grapplers Quest when he was a purple belt.

On April 8, 2006, just days before his 23rd birthday, Jeff Glover received his black belt from Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller. This milestone came after winning his second Pan American gold medal in the brown belt division. Unfortunately, Glover’s career in Gi (kimono) tournaments was hindered by finger injuries. However, his record in Submission Wrestling tournaments remains outstanding.
