Crochet these lovely Convertible crochet mittens by guest designer Aly of @lovealy the practicality of these crochet accessories are brilliant and perfect for your autumn and winter wardrobe they also make great gifts! If you are anything like me, I’m constantly taking gloves on and off so being able to open the mittens is a must.
Aly says, I wrote this pattern while travelling around the Caribbean. Ironic as the weather was so beautiful, yet I was designing this mitten with the knowledge I’d be heading back to cooler UK climates soon. Feeling the December chill on the horizon, I wanted something warm yet practical-so that I could still use my fingers to play on my phone but hide them away when Jack Frost started to nip. Thus the Convertible Mitten was born… Made in one piece so no faffing with trying to line up separate tops and pieces-this is a beginner-friendly pattern that can be made 3-ways.
