What characterizes crochet dragon gloves?
This unique kind of gloves feature a special technique that imitates dragon scales, so that’s where the name comes from! The stitch I’m talking about is called crocodile stitch, because it resembles reptile’s skin.

It’s quite obvious that the most popular are fingerless ones, because they have the simplest shape. Crocodile stitch is quite complicated and decorative, so the easier the construction of the glove, the better. Dragon gloves differ in length and combination of stitches, but what they all have in common is the fantasy look!
I’m a beginner. Will I be able to make it?
I think you will be, but it will require some patience to learn new techniques! As I’ve already mentioned, crocodile stitch requires some practice, so keep it in mind. Other than that, there’s no better project to learn it with, because gloves work up fast and eat much less yarn than other projects!
