Tailoring in WoW SoD
The Season of Discovery (SoD for short) is the second season in WoW Classic. WoW Classic: SoD is divided into several phases. Since each phase has a character level cap, there is a limit to how high you can skill Tailoring in the current phase.

Tailoring Gold Making and Leveling in SoD
The best way to level Tailoring in SoD while making gold from it is to craft items that are needed to turn Waylaid Supplies into 
Supply Shipment. To level Tailoring this way, you mainly craft the items needed to complete Waylaid Supplies. To do so you buy the materials needed in the auction house, craft the items, and then sell them with profit in the auction house.

Start leveling up Tailoring in SoD by making 
Bolt of Linen Cloth until you’re able to craft the first items from the list above. Fill any gaps between the mentioned items by crafting items from the regular WoW Classic Tailoring leveling guide below.

How to Level Tailoring in WoW Classic
As with all professions in WoW Classic, the same applies to tailoring: You receive skill points by carrying out a specific activity (e.g. making items, etc.). The frequency with which you receive a skill point depends on your current skill level. Please note the following color code:
- Orange: You are guaranteed to always gain a skill point.
- Yellow: You often gain a skill point.
- Green: You rarely gain a skill point.
- Gray: You no longer gain skill points.
How many materials you need to skill tailoring in WoW Classic depends on your luck in collecting skill points.
Where to Learn Tailoring in WoW Classic
You can learn Apprentice and Journeyman Tailoring in WoW Classic from Tailoring trainers, who you can find in the capitals, among other places. Once you have reached at least level 5, you can, for example, go to one of the following Tailoring trainers to learn the profession:

To get Tailoring to 300 you will need at least the following materials. The exact number depends heavily on your luck when collecting skill points (see information above), which is why it is difficult to give precise information.

You can purchase thread and dyes from tailoring vendors. You already produce the bolts required for the individual levels when you level up, which is why they are not listed separately in the list above.
Tailoring in WoW Classic is leveled from 1-75 (Apprentice), from 75-150 (Journeyman), from 150-225 (Expert) and from 225-300 (Artisan).
