How To Make Diy Slide Gloves

I always wanted a slide glove, but it was so expensive, so I decided to make one.

This is what I used:

1 Cutting board (for the sliding pucks)

1 pair of Gloves (I bought a welding glove that is made of leather, and was so cheap even to Brazil)

1 Glue (I used Superbond, but you can use hot glue if you want)

1 Saw IMG_1061

1 Velcro (I recommend you to buy Velcro that don’t have glue already, because makes it worst to put it on the gloves and pucks)

You will also need some needle and thread to sew or you can use a stapler, you will need Velcro for putting it together so you could do 1 glove and a lot of sliding pucks

Instructions:

– Pick the cutting board and make your design for the pucks, mine I pick the cover of a powder chocolate ( OVOMALTINE ) for the middle puck and I for the finger puck, I did like the loaded gloves, but you can use the design that you want.

Then cut it in your shape, for that I used an hand saw, but you can use whatever do you want to cut it, just have to be something that cuts. For cut the cutting board you need to ask someone help’s to hold on the cutting board for you so you could cut it, in my case I borrowed an Eberle tool from my grandfather so I can do it alone.

When you finished cutting you pick the puck and go to a rocky surface (like asphalt, rocks) that don’t be a smooth surface.

“Why I need to go to a place with rocky surface or the street”

So you can get rid of the edges of the pucks

” I need to do it”

No, but I prefers so is less chances to hurt your hand.

After you get rid of the edges, you grab your Velcro and cut it in the form of the pucks and design where the Velcro is going to be on the gloves.

Then glue the Velcro in the pucks, for that I used Superbond, but many people uses hot glue.

You will need to put the Velcro in the gloves too, so I sew it one hand and the other I used a staple.

Put the parts the way you like and GO SLIDING.
