O.H.S.O. Brewery & Distillery
The original O.H.S.O. location in Arcadia opened in 2011. The name O.H.S.O. stands for Outrageous Home Brewer’s Social Outpost. We would not be O.H.S.O. without Arcadia. The neighborhood itself shaped O.H.S.O. into what it is today and we are better off for it. Our back yard is located right off the Arizona Canal where bike riders and dog walkers can be seen every day. They are the reason for our bike inspired decor and dog-friendly patios.
We are fortunate that we landed in such a vibrant neighborhood. Thanks to them, we have been able to open multiple locations in the valley. We now have a larger brewery in Paradise Valley, a distillery in North Scottsdale, and a spot in Terminal 2 at Sky Harbor. Each O.H.S.O. offers something uniquely their own. Gilbert is our first and only IPA, barrel-aged beer and lager house.

History
Joe Lane, a native of Traverse City, Michigan, and partner Pat Walsh are the folks behind O.H.S.O. The original Arcadia eatery and nano brewery was founded in 2011 in the former home of the Black Forest Mill German Restaurant.

“I researched a lot of small batch breweries in Portland and Michigan,” said Lane, who is also a home brewer. “But I don’t think anyone in the Southwest is going to do this like we are.”
Co-founder Lane says that the name O.H.S.O. stands for different things to both he and his partner, Pat Walsh, and that he wants to leave it open for interpretation for his guests.
“But you could say,” he said with a laugh “that everything is O.H.S.O. good.”
