Becoming a Junior Marshall has always been a tradition at Scotland High School. Juniors who meet the standard requirements get the privilege of participating in many of the senior activities, the most famous being graduation. Distinguished by the hand-made sashes and white apparel, Junior Marshals are the academic pride of their class.

Junior Marshals have many responsibilities at each senior event. May 26th, a picture of the 2015 Junior Marshals was taken infront of Scotland High School. Each student was dressed in the apparel they intend to wear for graduation. The Senior Awards Program is also on the 26th, where the Junior Marshals greeted parents and students who were eager to earn their awards. Table workers checked off names of the presenters who arrived while others were posted at each door before and after program. Juniors also guided the seniors to and from the stage. On June 9th, the Baccalaureate will take place. Students must wear pastel colors, or white. This ceremony is an optional religious service that wishes the graduation class blessings as they continue on in their future endeavours. June 12 is graduation rehearsal and each Junior Marshall is expected to arrive promptly at 9:30 to go through the entire graduation practice 7:45 and remain until the entire graduation ceremony is finished. If Junior Marshals do not follow this prompt schedule or dress appropriately, they will not be able to attend the events.
