Manipulation is one of the most evil traits of human beings. Its a mental game played to entrap the victim into a net of emotions.

While manipulation is not gender specific… Today lets look how male manipulators entrap their victims.

This is most commonly happens in Office setups, in gyms, in parties… etc

1. The first step is that a Male manipulator will zero in on a woman and choose her as his target. The target is mostly someone who has a certain amount of loneliness, sadness or restlessness in her life. This makes it easy for him to work, because she doesn’t suspect his flirtatious, exciting, fun, and charismatic ways.
2. As time goes on, he begins to reveal a Jekyll & Hyde personality. He may change quickly from irresistible to rude, and from rude back to irresistible.
3. He fulfills his initial promises, but with time fails to keep them.
4. He will be late for appointments and dates with women.
5. He is always grandiose, talking about creating great money and power. The more friendly the victim becomes, the more controlling, and self-centered he becomes.
6. He is extremely competitive. Always trying to show-off his supremacy. If the victim does better than him socially or professionally, he feels terrible. He tries to camouflage his anger.
7. He will behave in different ways with the victim at workplace and in personal settings.
8. He will slowly question every part of the victims life. His subconscious need is to make her feel miserable about her life. He would then portray himself as a “teacher”.. and make her follow his line of thought.
9. The more control he gets on the victim, the more restrictions he will try to impose. She has to be financially, emotionally and even sexually dependent on him.
10. When the victim shows a slight resistance to his control or does something against his desire, he will give little or no attention.. He will suddenly withdraw his “teachings” and make the victim feel guilty.
11. He will cheat on the victim multiple times. Every time giving a great explanation. The explanations will be designed around the woman’s psychology.
12. Financially, emotionally, socially and sexually he takes as much as he can take from the victim, and will suddenly disappear. He might reappear after days or weeks or months.. to ask for more. He will have great explanations, sorry’s and gifts to lure the victim back.
13. He plays with the emotions of the victim by making her completely dependent on himself.
14. He will move onto other victim, the moment he finds a better prey.
15. Among his friends he will create a negative impression of the victim. Creating a false image about her, and how he was trying to help her.

A male manipulator might not have all the above mentioned traits, but surely will have a great majority of them.

What can be done?1. The victim should realize whats happening with her. 2. Seek help of professional psychiatrist/psychologist to help her channelize emotions. This will help her become more powerful and battle the manipulator.3. If the manipulation has happened and the manipulator walked away.. essential to meet a psychiatrist/psychologist to battle the psychological devastation left behind. The victim might be find herself loaded with depression, guilt, anger, sadness and lack of love for self.
