Duolingo has added a new feature called “Duolingo Daily Quests” to further motivate learners to get on the app and learn every day. Here’s what those quests are and how to complete them.
Where Can You Find Your Duolingo Daily Quests?
At the bottom of the app, click on the treasure chest icon tab.

You’ll see this is divided into Goals and Badges. Scroll down on the “goals” side and you’ll find the Daily Quests.

What Are Duolingo Daily Quests?
Daily Quests are 3 challenges that you can complete each day to earn gems and other rewards. They change every day, although many of them repeat.

In the past, Duolingo mostly just focused on your Daily XP goal (you can learn how to change that here) but now they’ve added 3 Daily Quests that you can complete each day that vary every day.
The 3 Daily Quests change every day, but usually are in order of difficulty. The first Quest earns you a bronze treasure chest, the second a silver treasure chest, and the third a gold one.
Since each day has different quests to complete, you don’t know which ones you’ll have to do tomorrow.
Some Daily Quest examples that I’ve seen are:
- Score 90% or higher in 2 lessons
- Score 90% or higher in 4 lessons
- Score 90% or higher in 5 lessons
- Complete 4 lessons
- Earn 10 XP
- Earn 30 XP
- Earn 50 XP
- Get 5 in a row correct in 5 lessons
- Spend 15 minutes learning
- Extend your streak
- Review 5 mistakes
- Review 10 mistakes
- Complete 4 Legendary challenges

What Reward Do You Get for Completing Each Daily Quest?
For each Daily Quest you complete, you earn a random number of gems or a reward like an XP Boost, and then once you complete all three quests you get to open another chest with more gems or rewards.

The gems range usually 4-15 gems per quest/ treasure chest.
How Do You Get the Rewards from the Daily Quests?
Once you’ve completed one of the daily quests (or all three!) a notification will tell you that you can claim the reward. When you click on that, a treasure chest will open with gems inside.
You can also check on this in the “treasure chest” tab by scrolling down in “Goals” to “Daily Quests.”
