When Do Burger King Serve Lunch

Burger King is best known for its juicy burgers and chicken sandwiches on the lunch menu. The fast food chain advertises that you can “Have it Your Way,” and while Burger King has designated lunch hours, you may still order a Whopper or fries during breakfast at some locations.

Here’s what you need to know about Burger King’s lunch hours, their lunch menu, and what it takes to order a Whopper during breakfast hours.

What Time Does Burger King Start Serving Lunch?

Burger King starts serving lunch at 10:30 a.m. every day, and the lunch menu is served until closing time. Restaurants that are open 24 hours stop serving lunch at 6:00 a.m. the following day when the breakfast hours begin.

The beginning of lunch hours is standard throughout the week, which gives Burger King enough time to serve breakfast. Although breakfast items aren’t made after 10:30 a.m., you may still get lunch items during breakfast hours at some locations.

Keep in mind that Burger King restaurants are franchise-owned and may have different hours, so it’s always best to check with your nearest location.

Does Burger King Serve Lunch All Day?

Burger King restaurants are allowed to serve lunch items all day, even during breakfast hours. However, ordering lunch items during breakfast may result in a longer wait time, and item availability may be limited.

In 2014, Burger King released their “Burgers at Breakfast” campaign in response to McDonald’s making breakfast available all day. The program allowed all Burger King locations to serve select lunch items all day long, including Whoppers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries.

While burger fans would love a Whopper in the morning, the “Burgers at Breakfast” program was unfortunately not successful, and many locations discontinued the program.

These days, Burger King restaurants are still allowed to sell fries and burgers in the morning, though most locations may not have these items readily available. This means you will have to ask at your local restaurant, and if they have the broilers and the fryers ready in the morning, you may order your favorite lunch items during breakfast hours.
