Will There be an “Expedition Bigfoot” Season 5?
“Expedition Bigfoot” is a documentary-type show based around the sasquatch-like creature that is rumored to lurk within the mountains and woods of the Pacific Northwest region – in this particular case, a team of researchers looks to prove the existence of the maybe-mythical creature within Oregon and Alaska.
Season 5 of “Expedition Bigfoot” has not been confirmed yet, although Season 4 only finished airing in November of 2023. There is still plenty of time for the show to enter production and eventually be confirmed. With the possibility of season 5, there’s an equally strong chance for the team of five researchers to be shaken up and have members added or subtracted.

‘Expedition Bigfoot’ stars a group of researchers that journey into a large plot in the Oregon wilderness for three weeks at a time. Bryce Johnson, Dr Mireya Mayor, Russel Acord, Ronny LeBlanc and Ryan Golembeske compose the team of researchers in search of Bigfoot and they all bring a different set of skills to round out the group’s composition. Bryce Johnson (from Pretty Little Liars fame) stars as the main host and biggest Bigfoot-enthusiast of the group. Dr. Mireya Mayor holds a Fulbright scholar title and has been called “the female Indiana Jones,” according to her Travel Channel biography. Russel Acord and Ryan Golembeske round out the group with survival and woodsman skills, and Ronny LeBlanc serves as the researcher and Cryptid expert of the group.
While over the four seasons of airing have not confirmed a verified discovery of Bigfoot, the team has discovered evidence to support a creature similar to Bigfoot in biology or some other cryptid animal. The show mostly focuses on its technology-based approach to proving the validity of Bigfoot and is more pragmatic in acknowledging the faults of previous Bigfoot sightings.
