Honkai Star Rail 1.4 release date
The Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update was released on October 11, 2023, and will run until November 15, 2023.
This means Trialblazers will have plenty of time to pull on the Phase 1 and upcoming Phase 2 banners in the game.

Honkai Star Rail 1.4 banners
The latest Honkai Star Rail banner has introduced the 5-star Ice user Jinglui, who players will be able to obtain during Phase 1 of the 1.4 update which will run from October 11, 2023, to October 27, 2023.
The following 4-star characters will run alongside Jinglui:
- Tingyun (Lightning)
- Qingque (Quantum)
- Sampo (Wind)
During Phase 2 of the 1.4 update, the 5-star Fire unit Topaz and her trusty companion Numby will debut, alongside a long-awaited Seele rerun banner. The 4-star Fire character, Guinaifen will also be introduced Phase 2.
The following 4-star characters will be available alongside Topaz’s banner:
- Guinaifen (Fire)
- Luka (Physical)
- Sushang (Physical)
Honkai Star Rail 1.4 story quest
An anonymous letter has appeared on the Astral Express, extending an invitation to Trailblazers with the hopes of connecting with Dan Heng.

Players will need to delve into the new ‘Clouds Leave No Trace’ story quest during the 1.4 update in order to uncover the mystery behind this invitation.
Honkai Star Rail 1.4 events
The Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update includes a lot of unique events that Trailblazers can take part in to secure free Stellar Jade and other goodies. We’ve provided a rundown of each major event below:
- Aetherium Wars: Compete with your Aether Spirit companions to claim championship rewards. You’ll need to pick Aether Spirit types that have an elemental advantage over your foes to deal huge amounts of damage. If you win, you can claim a free 4-star character: Serval, Pela, Luka, or Hook.
- Planner Infinity: Herta has made some tweaks to the Simulated Universe, including the Manic Plaine which includes high-damage enemies.
- Gift Odyssey daily check-in event: Players who log into Honkai Star Rail for seven days during the event can claim Star Rail Special Passes.
- Realm of the Strange: Challenge Caverns of Corrosion to obtain more Cavern Relics.
Honkai Star Rail 1.4 new locations
The Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update has brought two new areas to the game, including the Old Weapons Testing Ground and Pillars of Creation. These locations serve as essential stages of the story, as Topaz, a member of the Interastral Peace Corporation will be heading to Jarilo-VI to deal with intergalactic issues.
It’s here where Astral Express Crew will discover the core problems surrounding the relationship between the frozen plant and the IPC. Expect plenty of deadly battles and character encounters here.
