Consider this your complete guide to the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale because I’ve gathered all the scoop for you here. (I’ve updated with favorites as of 8:10 am Tuesday 1/5)
I’m sending this out early this am so that you can get logged in and in line! Once you are in the sale, be sure to open another page and set up your account so you can check out quickly, then shop! I will be updating this post with all my favorites as soon as the sale goes live this morning at 7ish am CST and I can get items linked for you so be sure to refresh this post so you can have easy access!

My mother, girls and I have worn Lilly for more years than I can count. I still have the first Lilly I bought and still love it! Lilly Pulitzer makes such high quality pieces. I have a collection of shift dresses the girls have all worn and I’m saving for the future!
The After Party Sale is one of my favorite times to pick up pieces for our closet that we’ll love for year at great prices. I’ve shared some inspiration photos below.
What is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale and why is it so special?
The After Party Sale is a biannual sale event where you can find Lilly Pulitzer styles at a significantly reduced prices. There are markdowns in every category: dresses, tunics and shirts, sweaters and cardigans, tees tanks and polos, sweatshirts and pop overs, outerwear, Luxletic Activewear, loungewear, golf, tennis, swim, accessories and girls. (I’ll be linking these categories to sale categories on Monday am!)
How to be ready for the After Party Sale!
- Know the Dates: The ONLINE After Party Sale begins Monday, January 4 at 8(ish) AM EST.
- As Lilly says: Don’t be afraid to Double Dip! Feel free to shop in store this morning and also online! The full inventory will be online but stores have a lot of merchandise as well. You can shop in store this weekend to get a peek of some of what is going to be online.
- Create an account and enter your credit card info: Just because you have put an item in your cart it is not reserved. This means that someone else could also grab it if they check out before you. Creating your account and entering all of your payment information as well as shipping address will save a lot of time at check out and increases your chances of getting everything you put in your cart.
Things to know During the Online After Party Sale:
- Get online early! The sale starts at 8(ish) am ET which means it could start a little earlier. My mother and I have gotten on an hour before the start time and been way down the line. (It does move quickly though!) I would suggest getting online at least an hour and a half before the sale is set to begin. Pro Tip from My Mother: Log in on multiple devices!
- Once you get to the site don’t panic and don’t refresh! You are put in a virtual waiting line. Don’t worry and think you need to refresh your page. Keep it open and sip your coffee. If you’ve logged on on multiple devices, you can watch as you get closer and closer to the front of the line and complete your shopping on which ever is in first.
- Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Once you’re on the site shop and throw in all of your must-have’s as quickly as possible and check out quickly as well. If you’ve logged on and are waiting in line on multiple devices, you can shop on the next device that is entered into the sale.
- If you see something you like don’t wait! Lilly Pulitzer almost never has big sales but when they do they are really BIG! Shop online on Monday and then check back on Tuesday because will be added to the sale and I’ll be updating here as well!
After the Sale
- All sales are final. Anything purchased on the after party sale is not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Slightly longer shipping time possible. Due to the high volume that is purchased during the sale remember that it can take a bit longer to receive your items. they say that it can take 4 to 6 weeks to have your items shipped out but we have never experienced shipping times that long.

While I do know a bit of what is going to be in the After Party Sale, I can’t link or share it yet. I’m sharing some of my favorite styles to get you inspired for what you might find!
Dresses for Everyone
Although gone are the days of all three girls matching, I love the fact that they have sizes and style to fit my girls ages and personalities. The Lilly team was so sweet to sent us all of these perfect party frocks for my oldest daughter’s baccalaureate and awards brunch in May. Such a sweet gift!
My favorite summer top is on sale in blue! I live in these all spring and summer!

Shorts, Tops and Sweaters
I love the shorts from Lilly Pulitzer. I’m only 5’2″ so the fact that they have different lengths is a huge plus for me. They are also a conservative fit which I love. These have been favorites and were part of what I wore in Cabo. The shorts below are Lilly as well. This off-the-shoulder sweater is an example of their novelty sweaters that are so chic.
Chic Tops
This anniversary print cutaway top was so fun to wear this summer and take to St. Lucia. I love that it is lined and fitted so if you aren’t busty, a bra is optional but it is cut in a way that a strapless works perfectly, too! The white and blue top my daughter has on is available in pink and white and only $49! Also in a gorgeous hot pink and gold, too!
Elsa Top

The Elsa Top is probably Lilly’s best selling top. I discovered it from my mom as she probably has, well, my dad reads this a lot so let’s just say “several.” 🙂 While the white isn’t part of the sale, their great hand-painted Lilly prints are, as well as some of the seasonal custom colors are.
Cute Sets
I loved this maxi skirt set I wore in St. Lucia. The high waist and adjustable top made me feel comfortable trying the matching set trend.
Novelty pieces
This vest was been a big hit on AWL! It’s back this year Blue and Pink and a similar design in gold and black!
