Yes. Unfortunately for those who have been cashing into the Marlboro Rewards program, it is coming to an end.
Marlboro Rewards are collected when you buy a packet of their cigarettes. Adult smokers enrolled in the program collect points through the MHQ app. On the app, smokers scan and enter reward codes found on their packs for points.
Some of the rewards include discounts on later packets. Other rewards include Marlboro swag, gift codes and much more.

So, when is the Marlboro Rewards end date?
- 31 December 2021
There is still under half a year to continue with the Marlboro Rewards program, but it will be coming to an end on the last day of the year at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time (ET). So, when the clock strikes midnight and you welcome in 2022, you’ll have to say goodbye to Marlboro Rewards.

The current program launched on 14 January 2019, meaning it ran for almost three years.

Marlboro Miles and more rewards
The current Marlboro Rewards isn’t the first time the cigarette brand has conjured up a scheme to reward their loyal customers. Plenty of other cigarette brands also use this marketing ploy, including competitors Camel (they had a promotion called “Camel Cash”).
In 1993, Marlboro rolled out the Marlboro Adventure Team. This was essentially a tobacco-inspired lifestyle brand promoting outdoor activities via branded merchandise. The merch could be purchased through Marlboro Miles.
Marlboro Miles consisted of the proof of purchase on the cigarette packet plus the words “5 Miles” or “Five Miles.” You would save your cigarette pack’s proof of purchase with these words and turn that into Marlboro merchandise via the Marlboro Miles catalog.
