Harlem season 2 release date and plot preview

Season 2 of Harlem strutted its way onto Prime Video on Friday, February 3, 2023.

The new season picks up from the explosive cliffhanger ending of season 1, which saw Camille blow up her career and love life in quick succession, leaving her attempting to put the pieces of her life back together.

Meanwhile, Tye considers her future in the new season as Quinn embarks on a journey of self-discovery and Angie’s career takes a promising turn.

How many episodes in total?

Season 2 of Harlem will consist of eight episodes in total.

Veteran fans of the comedy series will note that this is two fewer episodes than we saw in season 1, which had 10 chapters.

That’s not the only disappointment surrounding Harlem’s return either as the new season will be released weekly, rather than all at once as was the case for season 1.

Following the two-episode premiere on February 3, two new episodes will arrive each week until the finale lands on February 24.

Season 3 chances explored

Beyond its second season, Prime Video has yet to renew Harlem for a potential third season.

However, the show finds itself in a strong position as it proved a huge hit with fans when it arrived on Prime Video in December 2021.

That is evidenced in how the trailer for Harlem season 2 picked up an incredible 7.2 million views on YouTube, an increase of 2.6 million over the season 1 trailer, which had 4.6 million views.

On top of that, the show’s 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is another indicator of the show’s positive reception, hopefully meaning that a third-season renewal shouldn’t be too far away.
