When Does The College Football Rankings Come Out

The Big Ten had two teams in the top four of the first College Football Playoff rankings released in Week 10.

Ohio State (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) was the top ranked team in the first poll, thanks to big wins over Penn State and Notre Dame. Michigan (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten), whose toughest opponents this year are still to come, came in at No. 3, behind Georgia (9-0, 6-0 SEC).

The Bulldogs, for their part, pulled off a big win over previously 12th-ranked Missouri (7-2, 3-2 SEC), while Notre Dame (7-3), one of the biggest wins on Ohio State’s resume, lost to Clemson (5-4, 2-4 ACC). Could those results push the two-time defending national champions back up to the top of the rankings?
