The January transfer window is now into its final hours before another winter market draws to a close.
The January 2024 window has not reached the insane spending levels of past years but it has still been a very exciting one.

There have been some big transfers in the January market. Barcelona splashed out €40m on Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense, while Spurs paid Genoa €30m for Radu Dragusin, and Leipzig €25m for Eljif Elmas from Napoli.
We also saw high-profile loans such as Jadon Sancho joining Borussia Dortmund from Man Utd and Timo Werner switching to Tottenham from Leipzig.
European sides can also start negotiating with players who will be free agents in the summer of 2024, with some big names able to agree moves from January.
Premier League clubs, however, cannot approach other English top flight players until the final month of their deals, meaning some players could be snapped up by teams in Europe.
Kylian Mbappe is the biggest name whose contract is due to expire in 2024. The France international has informed Paris Saint-Germain that he will not sign an extension, opening the door for a free transfer move to Real Madrid, but a move will be complicated amid Premier League interest and Jude Bellingham’s new-found stardom at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Adrien Rabiot, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are among several other top stars who are also set to become free agents next summer, if they don’t sign a contract extension.
