Grandpa and Patrick Jiang’s grandpa were good friends. The two had promised each other the marriage of their grandson and granddaughter when they grew up. Just like that, when the time came, Lola accepted the proposal of her family and married Patrick.
However, even if they had been married for more than a month now, Patrick had only come back home a few times, let alone stay in a room with Lola.

Lola was lying on the white king size bed with her lips pressed tightly, trying hard to hold in her tears which nonetheless slid down from her cheeks, wetting the pillow.
After a while, the door was gently pushed open, and a tall figure approached the bed with a sense of oppression.
Hearing the steps that were like a hammer hitting her heart, Lola was so frightened that she closed her eyes and her whole body trembled fiercely.
“Are you clean?” The man’s low and hoarse voice came with a touch of forbearance, making it difficult to hear what he was saying.
Lola didn’t respond anything. She only lay there, curled up and trembled.
The next second, the man impatiently lifted her quilt and touched her exposed arm with his big hand.
“Ah!” The cold sensation made Lola scream and her eyes were filled with fear. Her inexperienced and innocent look quickly pleased the man.

The two entangled and the temperature in the room was getting higher and higher. The strong wind didn’t cease blowing on the windows, adding even more disturbance to the chaotic night.
It was destined to be a restless night.
In the morning, Lola was sent back to her house. She didn’t get to know the name of the man, nor did she bother to, but she knew that he was very strong and his actions were domineering. After all, he tortured her for a long time.

“What are you doing, Lorraine?” Lola shouted when she saw Lorraine touching the oxygen mask of her grandpa. She suddenly became nervous and fear spread out in her heart, immobilizing her movements.
“The old bastard can’t be saved anyway. If he dies, everything will be solved. Isn’t that right, Lola?”
With a vicious smile on her face, Lorraine held onto the oxygen mask, ready to take it off any moment. Her eyes were fixed on Lola, enjoying the panic in her eyes. She didn’t notice anything strange about Lola since she was wearing loose clothes. It was difficult to see her seven-month pregnant belly clearly.
“Get out!”
Lola was so angry that she rushed over and tried to push Lorraine out of the ward.
“Bitch, don’t touch me. It’s disgusting!” Lorraine pushed Lola back with all her strength, causing her to fall to the ground hard.

I hate you and your grandpa so bad!
And you don’t know about this yet, do you? My mother is pregnant. As long as she gives birth to a son, the Nan family will be ours from that time on. Ha ha.”
As she laughed, her face seemed to be nearly twisted into a monster. Then, Lorraine continued, “Now, I can let this old bastard die.”
“No!” Lola shouted in a desperate tone. She tried to move her body to stand up, but the pain in her body became more and more intense.
Lorraine took off grandpa’s oxygen mask with a sinister grin on her face before turning around and kicked Lola in the abdomen with her heel.

She used her utmost effort to crawl and struggle to get close to the bed. Every time she moved, more blood stained the ground.
“Grandpa…”
Lola whimpered in a weak voice. Tears blurred her eyes and she felt that she was losing her strength gradually.
The pain in her body and heart intertwined, causing the extreme pain she was feeling to intensify tenfold.
“Lorraine, why are you here?” Patrick’s gentle voice came from outside the ward.

After receiving Lola’s phone, the doctor immediately dialed the number on the top of the contact list.
Lola’s senses were fuzzy and her head was in a daze, but she wasn’t completely unconscious so, she could vaguely hear what the doctor was saying on the phone.
“Hello, is this family of the owner of the phone? The owner is giving birth now, and the situation is critical. There is a dead baby. Please come here quickly.”
“A dead baby? Well, just throw it away then!”
Lorraine’s loud and vicious voice reverberated through the phone.
Out of reflex, Lola clenched her fists and forced herself to get up to protect her child, not understanding what was happening clearly. However, as soon as she moved, the pain in her body sprang up, immediately devouring all her consciousness and causing her to fall into darkness.
The doctor instructed the nurse to deal with the dead baby and was about to arrange for the other two babies when suddenly, the delivery room was kicked open with a bang.
A group of well-dressed bodyguards rushed in from the outside.
“Who, who are you?” the doctor asked, a tremor evident in his tone due to the oppressive pressure in the room.
The man in the lead glanced at the babies who were carried in the arms of the two doctors, and then looked at Lola’s face.
“Take the children away!”
