VinUni is a private, not-for-profit university established by Vingroup – the largest private conglomerate in Vietnam. VinUni aspires to develop talents for the future, to make a breakthrough in Vietnam higher education, and to become a world-class university. With rigorous selection process, VinUni has admitted students who are top 5% from gifted and leading high schools countrywide with average high school GPA of 9.0, IELTS average band of 7.5, SAT average score of 1445+ and some with top 1% SAT scores worldwide. Our students have been studying in a diverse student population with 5% of total students from 19 foreign countries. In addition, our professors and faculty come from top universities globally, some of whom are top 2 % most cited scholars. Apart from the outstanding academic performance, VinUni students are keen on participating in community work and the professional world from the early stage of their university time through various activities such as the Student Clubs, Work-Study Program, company visit, in-semester internship, summer internship, business case competition, and Research projects.
The first VinUni’s Career Day was held in April 2022 received 100% ratings “excellence” from the company participants and the most impressive highlight was the high caliber of the VinUni students. More than 30 students landed their internships right at the Career Day. The Industry-Academic Roundtable between industry representatives, VinUni’s leaderships, faculty and students also speak volumes about the practicality of the EXCEL training model (the graduate attributes of students developed by VinUniversity: Empathy – EXceptional Capabilities – Creativity – Entrepreneurship Mindset – Leadership) and the commitment to co-developing talents for the future.
