At the time of writing (Wednesday 7th February): for players all over the world, including the UK, Fortnite is currently offline and is not available to play.

The current server downtime began at about 9am GMT today from a UK time zone perspective, with the tweet below confirming it.
When will Fortnite servers come back online?
Epic Games has confirmed when Fortnite should come back online, with the servers scheduled to go live at around 1pm GMT from a UK time zone perspective.
All being well, then, this should mean we can jump back in at lunch time.
This precise time was mentioned on the Epic Games website, so it’s about as legit as these things can get!

Whenever you’re unsure as to whether Fortnite is online, there are three main places you should check to see what the Fortnite server status is looking like.
- The official Fortnite Status Twitter account will keep you posted with official updates from the developers.
- Also, the Epic Games website will give you a quick way to look at the official status of all of Epic’s services.
- Plus, take a look at Down Detector and you’ll see if any other players are currently experiencing difficulties.
