“Celebrating 70 with a run on the beach. #healthisthebestgift. Thank you for all the birthday love 🥳,” she captioned the video via Instagram Monday.
In the clip, a slimmed-down Winfrey jogged along the golden sand in a purple activewear set while her dog ran beside her.
The post came one month after she reflected on the emotional turmoil she’s faced throughout her life, and the decision to start taking a weight loss drug.

“It was a public sport to make fun of me for 25 years,” Winfrey told People last month, noting that she was often “blamed and shamed” for her weight.
“The things that were said about me, said to me, around me, the jokes that were made. You could not get away with it in the slightest sense today.”
The “Oprah Winfrey Show” alum, who didn’t specify whether she was taking Ozempic or another similar drug, said the medication she’s been using has helped with maintaining her figure.
“The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for,” she told the outlet.
“I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself.”
Elsewhere, Winfrey confessed that she “blamed” herself for “being overweight” until she realized she had a “predisposition that no amount of willpower” was going to control.

“It was a second shot for me to live a more vital and vibrant life,” she said of the FDA-approved weight loss drug, adding that her goal weight is 160 pounds.
The “Color Purple” producer also revealed she was particularly crushed after landing on fashion critic Mr. Blackwell’s worst-dressed list at the beginning of her career.
“I was on the cover of some magazine, and it said, ‘Dumpy, Frumpy and Downright Lumpy,’” she recalled.
“I just accepted that as that’s what it is, and I didn’t feel angry. I felt sad. I felt hurt. I felt shame, but it didn’t occur to me that I could even feel angry,” she continued.
“I swallowed the shame, and I accepted that it was my fault.”
