Now, all eyes are back on Luz and her friends as they try to end their adventure with a bang, with ‘Watching and Dreaming’ set to be the series send-off.

The Owl House season 3 episode 3 will release in the United States on Saturday, April 8; dropping in the early hours of Sunday, April 9 for overseas viewers.
The final episode of the hit animated series will premiere via the Disney Channel and Disney XD at the following international times:
- Pacific Time – 6:25 PM
- Eastern Time – 9:25 PM
- British Time – 2:25 AM
- European Time – 3:25 AM
- India Time – 6:55 AM
- Philippine Time – 9:25 AM
- Australia Eastern Daylight Time – 11:25 AM

The Owl House season 3 episode 3 will then be made available to stream in the US via Disney+ on Sunday, April 9.
Episodes 1 and 2 are already available on Disney Now and Disney+, viewers can also purchase the two previous episodes via Google Play for around $1.99. Alternatively, the adventure so far will be broadcast on Disney XD in the build-up to the season 3 finale.
Fans in Canada can watch the entire third season on Disney+ on April 19, 2023 – a release date for UK viewers remains TBA.

Season 3 episode 3 to be the final chapter of The Owl House
Unfortunately, season 3 episode 3 is set to be the final chapter in The Owl House storyline, after creator Dana Terrace confirmed on social media that it would be the series finale.
Initially, fans were skeptical that the series had been axed by Disney for its LGBTQ+ themes, but thankfully Terrace explained in a Reddit thread that this was not the case.

Similarly, whilst the impact from the coronavirus pandemic caused countless titles to be cut short across the entertainment industry, Terrace “wasn’t allowed to be part of any conversation” until the cancelation was confirmed.
“Budgets were constrained and episodes were cut across the board. But we took the biggest bullet and I wasn’t given the option of a “season 4 when parks open again”. They just wanted to be done with TOH and this was the perfect chance to do that.”
In reality, the cancelation of The Owl House was highly controversial because, as, the show reportedly did not fit the Disney branding.
“At the end of the day, there are a few business people who oversee what fits into the Disney brand and one day one of those guys decided TOH didn’t fit that “brand”. The story is serialized (BARELY compared to any average anime lmao), our audience skews older, and that just didn’t fit this one guy’s tastes. That’s it! Ain’t that wild? Really grinds my guts, boils my brain, kicks my shins, all the things. It sucks but it is what it is.”
Thankfully, there is a slight ray of hope for fans of The Owl House:
“Not only does it support the crew but it encourages studios to take bigger risks on shows coming down the pipeline. And, who knows? Maybe there’s a future for the Owl House world if DTV has different people in charge.”
