The Shipment battlefield is one of the most beloved maps among avid players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It was even given its own 24/7 playlist on more than one occasion to accommodate the demand for the simple, yet chaotic location.
Unfortunately, the fan-favorite map was replaced in Season 2 with no word on why it was removed or when it might return. This has left franchise fans both disappointed and eager to hear any news on the return of Shipment 24/7 in the near future.

When is Shipment 24/7 Coming Back to MW2?
This year, hopeful CoD players have offered up their best guesses as to when the Shipment 24/7 playlist will return to MW2. Though, no dates have been confirmed and we have yet to see any fan theories pan out.

However, the game developer Infinity Ward hosted a poll on their official Twitter account earlier this month, asking players to vote on what they’d like to see added into rotation with the April 4 update.
Out of nearly 60k votes, the final results of the poll showed that well over half of all voters wanted to see Extended Shipment added.
While we have yet to see the poll results bear any fruit, players remain hopeful that Shipment will return to MW2 with the drop of the next update, sometime in 2023, or beyond that in 2024.

Shipment is a fan-favorite map among MW2 players. This is due to the map’s simple, yet cluttered box design, which inevitably encourages absolute mayhem to ensue during battle.
Filled with a veritable ton of cargo shipping containers, there are plenty of places to hide and aim. With that, it’s easy to understand how the map earned its name and why long-time players seem to favor the location.
Hopefully, Infinity Ward will deliver when it comes to either restoring Shipment or adding Extended Shipment among other new maps in the next MW2 update.
