In addition to strawberries, they will also have their awesome farm activities! Plan to experience Belle’s Barnstormer, pedal karts, jumping pillows, a cow train, ball zone, mini ball zone, tetherball, an animal barn, giant tunnel slide, hayrides, rubber duck races, and wagon rides.

Washington Farms strawberries are back!

In the spring, Washington Farms offers strawberry picking, lots of fun farm activities, and yummy treats — like strawberry ice cream!

They’re offering Super Spring Saturdays on select Saturdays in April and May. On these special days they’ll have concessions and all the fun farm activities you can handle — like a petting zoo, corn box, wagon rides, inflatables, playgrounds, cornhole, and so much more. (Seriously, this place is great and offers lots of family fun!)

Their strawberry picking season usually begins in April, but it’s always best to call first because picking conditions and hours are always subject to change due to weather. Closed on Sundays.

Whitley Farm (Sharpsburg)

Whitley Farms is a locally-owned and family-operated business located in Sharpsburg, about 40 minutes southwest of Atlanta. Their berries and tomatoes are pretty much famous in the area, and Amanda’s Farmer’s Salsa is beyond awesome.

They usually begin the season in mid-April and will carry it on as long as their fields are producing. Whitley Farm proudly offers fresh, locally, naturally grown fruits and vegetables too. Call to see what is available each day.

Warbington Farms (Cumming)

Warbington Farms in Cumming offers strawberry picking and fun farm activities too!

Usually opening in mid-April for strawberry-picking season, Warbington Farms offers 3 acres of strawberries. Additionally, you’ll find fun farm activities on select days. Activities include “Hey” rides to see the cows, a petting zoo in the barnyard, slides, a jumping pillow, corn cribs, and a bubble station. Mitcham Farm (Oxford)

Mitcham Farm in Oxford, near Covington, usually opens for strawberry picking in early April and stays open through late May/early June, every day of the week.

Sweet Berry Orchard is located in Hogansville, about an hour southwest of Atlanta. Tom and Leigh Anne are local berry farmers who use sustainable farming practices — including using their own bees for pollination — to bring the freshest, sweetest, and yummiest berries you can pick or buy.

Dickey Farms (Musella)

Dickey Farms in Musella, near Macon, has been growing peaches in the heartland of Georgia for over 125 years, but they also have U-pick strawberries in the early spring!

Come out and pick your strawberries, or pick up a bucket of their pre-picked berries. They also offer strawberry shortcake, ice cream, fritters, breads, hand pies, and seasonal vegetables at their market. You’ll find a great playground here for the kids.

They offer both U-pick berries and pre-picked berries. They plant their berries on raised plastic beds to provide you with the cleanest, easiest picking.

LCCL Strawberry Farm (Rome)

LCCL Strawberry Farm is a family-run strawberry farm in Rome. We love that they also have a great relationship with a favorite escape, Barnsley Garden. LCCL Strawberry Farm usually opens in mid-April for strawberry season. They ask that you bring your own containers to take your strawberries home. Cash or check only.
