When is the Summer Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale?
The Summer sale starts in the middle of June each year – in 2022 it started 6/10 for Rewards members and 6/11 for the rest of us!
The sale typically lasts until mid July – with tons of new markdowns each week of the event. Plus, NEW Bath & Body Works rewards members will get $10 off $30 when they join for free.
Where can you shop the Semi Annual Sale? In Stores and Online – Twice a Year!
This sale happens two times a year – usually right after Christmas and right in the middle of Summer – and lasts for around a month.

There are so many ways to save at the Bath & Body Works (especially during the Semi-Annual sale!) – from taking along coupons to knowing where in the store to find the best sales. Here are some of the best tips I’ve learned!
1. Hold Out for early June or December 26th.
If you’re a big fan of Bath & Body Works products, make plans to purchase the bulk of your goodies in the 1st week of Summer, or the Winter sale starts December 26th. That’s when these Semi Annual Sales always hit and you can save the most!
You can get signature lotions, body wash, and body sprays for up to 75% OFF regular price. If you’re able, go ahead and shop for the next six months. Having extra candles and lotions in your gift closet is a great way to stay on top of teacher gifts, birthdays, etc… while paying almost dollar store prices!
For Example: In the past Hand Soaps have been as low as $2.50 (regularly $7.50!)
2. Use Coupons with the Sale & Sign Up For Bath & Body Works Rewards!
Bath & Body Works Coupons come out all the time – and you can use them alongside sale events, including the Semi-Annual sale! Many of our readers received this coupon just before the last semi-annual event:

Become a Bath & Body Works Rewards Member and get $10 off $30! – Sign up for Loyalty Program online and receive your coupon within 72 hours (plus earn some fun perks on regular shopping throughout the year).
You can even stack coupons that come on the same flyer (usually 3)! For instance a “Free Product with $10 Purchase” coupon could be used along with a “$10 off $40 purchase” coupon. Just check the coupon for any exclusions so you know in advance.

3. Grab 3-Wick Candles for under $5??
Guys – these quality candles burn evenly, burn long, and are highly fragrant. But they’re also NOT CHEAP. Normally a Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candle will set you back up to $24.50.

75% OFF CANDLES: SOME stores get in a selection of 3-Wick Candles for 75% OFF during the Semi-Annual Sale (that’s around $6-$8 each).
👉 Keep in mind you can also get a good deal on candles at other times during the year. You can expect to pay as little as $7-$8 for a 3-wick candle at Bath & Body Works during the super rare Bath & Body Works Candle Day sale, which is a pretty sweet deal if you don’t find what you’re looking for during the Semi Annual Sale.
4. Snag 75% OFF Body Care Items.
Here’s the sneak peek of which Bath & Body Works body care items will be 75% OFF – making them as low as $3.95 each. Keep in mind, just like the candles it will be rare to find many of these at your store but there should be at least one or two bins of them!
5. Sign up for Emails and Texts!
Don’t miss out on offers they send to loyal customers! In the past, during the Semi-Annual Sale I’ve received coupons via email, but also free shipping offers on Facebook that were specific just for me.
But wait! Bath & Body Works now offers FREE STORE PICKUP for online orders at participating stores! That means you can order all your favorite goodies online and not pay the hefty shipping prices (some exclusions apply). Go HERE to see if your store is participating.
You’ll want to sign up for their mailer coupons, emails, and texts to get extra coupons and special treats like those “FREE Product with Any Purchase” coupons. I love those – because you can buy a travel size item (like in the pic above) or PocketBac and get a FREE Full-Size Signature product!
6. Pick up FREE Gift Wrap while shopping!
Why buy bags & ribbons later? While you’re in there getting enough lotions to gift every lady in your life for the whole year – grab some gift wrap, on the house! You can pick up the really cute cellophane baggies with ribbon and tag totally free. If you don’t see them on a display, just ask your cashier. They do vary from year to year as far as the style they have, but they always offer this service!

7. Their Price Adjust & Exchange Policies are AMAZING!
If you accidentally bought something right before the sale – Bath & Body Works has a fabulous price adjustment policy. They’ll adjust to the lower price within 14 days of your purchase.

As always – if it isn’t in your budget, try not to let a good deal lure you into overspending. Buyer’s remorse is real – and I guarantee you many Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual shoppers have experienced it!
