When Is The Party Never Ends Dropping

Lil Bibby is a man of few words, but when he speaks, Juice WRLD fans drop everything to listen.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (Feb. 4), the Grade A Productions founder revealed that the previously-scrapped The Party Never Ends is not only on its way, but will be the late Chicago rapper’s “final album.” “The last Juice WRLD album is in the works,” he wrote in his latest post. “We want this album to feel like a celebration… We miss you, we love you. 999 til the world ends.”

Bibby’s announcement follows news of Juice WRLD’s catalog being sold to Opus Music Group in early 2022 in a whopping nine-figure deal, per a report from Billboard. The deal included “hundreds” of unreleased Juice WRLD tracks as well as the entirety of his released catalog. While Grade A Productions retained ownership of Juice’s master recordings, Opus now holds 90% of his interest in master recording income and his 90% share of publishing ownership.

Opus Music Group, which also represents Maluma and Rauw Alejandro, issued a statement regarding the deal. “To represent the body of work of Juice WRLD — whose cultural significance and generational influence can’t be overstated — is an honor and responsibility.”

The Party Never Ends was originally announced in the summer of 2021. It will be Juice’s third and final posthumous project, which follows recent singles in “Cigarettes,” “BYE BYE,” “In My Head” and “Face 2 Face.”

Prior to the release of “Face 2 Face” in December, Juice was immortalized at the second annual Juice WRLD Day in Chicago. The first memorial event was held in 2021 when Fighting Demons dropped alongside its companion HBO-produced film Into The Abyss. It’s uncertain if Juice’s posthumous releases will end with TPNE, however, loose tracks or singles don’t seem to be completely ruled out.

Frankly, letting TPNE be Juice’s last official project seems to be the right time to stop. Bibby and Grade A have endured an endless battle with hackers in the time since Juice’s passing. While thousands of unreleased tracks still circle the dark corners of Discord and SoundCloud, there’s truly no right way to package the insurmountable vault the late rapper accumulated in his life.

Hackers continue to find ways to bring highly-guarded grails to light, as more Juice leaks casually pop up almost every other day. Bibby knows this too — displaying his frustrations with hackers over the years — and seems to have come to terms with the reality of the situation. Striving to celebrate his life one last time, TPNE should give fans the completed versions of tracks they’ve been waiting so long for.

Despite TPNE being Juice’s last official release, take solace in the fact that Juice WRLD’s music — no matter how new or old — will be here forever.
