Some Tips Before You Start
New to the game?
Here are three of the best tips we suggest you keep in mind while playing When The Past Was Around.
Tip #1: Use The Hint Button Whenever You’re Stuck
If you’re stuck in a certain area and don’t know what to do, try clicking the “Hint” button located at the upper-right corner of your screen.
Doing this will reveal all the interactable objects in the area, allowing you to focus on them exclusively to help you progress further in the story.
Tip #2: Don’t Leave The Game During Chapters
Only leave the game in-between chapters, as this game only autosaves after every chapter.
Quitting prematurely may require you to replay entire chapters the next time you open up the game, so be careful!
Tip #3: Check Usable Items Via The Prompt
A prompt will appear after you drag an item to another object that it can interact with, like so:
Keep this in mind to avoid getting stuck trying to use items on objects it cannot interact with.
