There is one 2024 Subaru Forester trim you should avoid
We recommend not buying the 2024 Forester base trim level. Here’s why.
The 2024 Forester base trim features a smaller 6.5-inch touchscreen, X-Mode, and Hill descent control are not available, four-wheel disc brakes are not available, it comes with 17-inch steel wheels, 18-inch wheels are not available, fog lights and LED fog lights not available, the all-weather package (windshield wiper de-icer, heated side mirrors, heated front seats) is not available, and raised roof rails not available.
The 2024 Subaru Forester base trim is not a good value for compact SUV shoppers. The better buy would be the Forester Premium, which offers all those features excluded from the Forester base.
