When You’re Going Through Hell Keep On Going

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was a British statesman, soldier, and writer who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945, during the Second World War, and again from 1951 to 1955. Apart from two years between 1922 and 1924, he was a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1900 to 1964 and represented a total of five constituencies. Ideologically an economic liberal and imperialist.

“If you’re going through hell, keep going.” – Winston Churchill

If you find yourself in a bad place, there’s no point in being there. You need to keep going—literally and figuratively—to get out.

In this sense, the phrase speaks to the importance of showing resilience and resilience in the face of disaster.

At the same time, it also heralds hope… There is a light at the end of the tunnel. At some point, the grief you’re dealing with will feel more bearable.

Keep going, and eventually, things will get better. It’s not fun, but it definitely trumps other options.

It’s your choice to keep the pain; or you can keep the faith and keep putting one foot in front of the other knowing the bad times won’t last.
