Where Are Napoleon Grills Made

Let’s face it, it’s been a pretty wild couple of years in Canada (and the rest of the world), and it makes all the difference to shop local these days. As a locally-owned, Canadian business ourselves, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of our favourite Canadian products and brands. There’re tons of options featured here, from barbecues and fire features, to rubs, sauces, and accessories. Big or small, all local purchases help our Canadian economy.

Here are eight of our favourite Canadian brands and their Canadian-made products.

Broil King

Broil King is extremely well known throughout Canada. They make some fantastic grills and accessories that can last a lifetime. While almost all of Broil King products are made in North America, we’re focused on a couple of their barbecues in particular. In Waterloo, Ontario, the Broil King Signet and Broil King Monarch series are made.

The Signet and Monarch series offer some of the “best bang for your buck” features you’ll find. They burn extremely hot for their size, and offer a great warranty and value. They’ve been a long standing favourite among our staff, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Napoleon

Napoleon is probably the most well known of all of our Canadian-made brands and products. Their manufacturing plant is only an hour or so north of our Etobicoke store. Not only do they make their barbecues in Barrie, Ontario, they also have a second plant where they manufacturer the stainless steel as well. It’s important to note that not all Napoleon full-sized barbecues are made in Canada, only their Prestige and Prestige PRO collections.

The Napoleon Prestige Series are some of our best selling barbecues and it’s easy to see why. Tons of power, looks absolutely beautiful, uses quality parts, and of course: made in Canada. You can check out a review of the series here.

Iron Embers

Iron Embers is one of our newest Canadian brands that we carry. It’s also quickly becoming one of our most beloved. They specialize in making hand crafted, stunningly unique, and functional wood burning firepits. Better yet, their operation is just a quick drive north of our Burlington store in Guelph, Ontario. Each unit features a 10 year manufacturers’ warranty and made with up to 1/4″ thick steel – that’s quality you won’t find elsewhere. With several styles and sizes available, you can find the Canadian-made wood firepit of your dreams for your backyard or cottage.

With chilly, fall nights and winter-cold weather around the corner, it’s never too early to start looking into a new gas fireplace or gas insert. There’s no better place to start looking than with a Valor Fireplace. Founded in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Valor is the original radiant gas fireplace. Whether you’re looking for a new custom build, or looking to place an insert into an existing masonry fireplace, they have a plethora of sizes and styles so that you can get the perfect fireplace this winter.

If you’re looking patio furniture to get the most out of what’s left of summer or prepare for next year, we definitely recommend taking a look at CR Plastics (CRP) Furniture. Another one of our products that’s made just a little north of our Etobicoke store, up in Stratford, Ontario (move over Bieber). They specialize in making patio furniture made from recycled bottles. So, not only are you supporting local, but you’re going green too (that’s a moral bang for your buck).
