We pride ourselves on raising docile, friendly, miniature cattle. Their docility is one of the many reasons our cattle have become highly sought after by first-time livestock owners. Most people sell cattle that will come to you for food (but otherwise avoid you). Our cattle will let you walk up to them and handle them in the paddock (no food necessary).

Our miniature cattle are handled in the paddock daily, many from the day they are born. Most are halter trained (will walk with you on a lead) and will come when called. In fact, a few of our miniature cattle will queue up quietly in the paddock to be brushed and groomed.
We sell cute cattle to people looking for:
1. Miniature cattle as gentle paddock pets (for the joy of owning such beautiful animals).
2. Miniature cattle for paddock patrol (quiet lawn mowers for the small acreage owner).
3. Miniature purebred and full blood cattle for the show ring and breeding.
1. We hope to have some miniature pet steers for sale early in early 2024. We may have two black steers ready to go soon (contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to check). People on our Sales Contact List looking for steers will be contacted when the little fellows are ready for a new home. Follow the herd on to see new calf photos.
2. Anyone looking to buy our amazing females contact us with your details. We won’t know if we are in a position to sell females until mid to late 2023 when our current heifer calves have had time to mature. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. our sales contact list (the closest thing to a waiting list we can offer)
If you are on our Sales Contact List, we will contact you when we are considering selling any of our herd members. If we have notified you that we have added your details to the list, it is important that you read Our Buying Process (on this page, below).
To be included on our Sales Contact List, you will need to email us so we have your email address. Your email needs to include as much relevant information about you as possible. Relevant information includes the number of cattle you want and whether you want cows, bulls, heifers, steers, calves, or mature cattle. What you want the cattle for is also relevant. Do you simply want pets, show ring performers, registered cattle for breeding, companions for people with disabilities, etc.? Please include your location, the size of your property, your setup to run cattle on your property, and anything else you think might be relevant.
Yes, we do want to know quite a lot about you before we consider selling any of our animals to you. By the time any of our cattle are ready to be sold, we have spent hours and hours handling each of them and forming bonds. So, we need to know they will be well looked after when they leave us or it will be very hard for us to sleep well at night. We love our cattle and we love our sleep.
We sort the people on our Sales Contest List into groups according to their wants, needs, and priorities. When cattle are offered for sale, we will email the people best suited to the cattle available.

SOLD: Paddie and Louis. These two little fellows are enjoying life at their new home in the Hawkesbury area. August 2022
SOLD: Tully’s bull calf. This little fellow and his best mate have been enjoying life in their new home in the Berry area since May 2023.
Transport
When purchasing our cattle we suggest that you organise your own transportation. Borrowing or hiring a horse float or small livestock trailer will save you a lot of money*. Or we can get someone from Braidwood to deliver – transportation costs from here range from $3.00 to $4.00 per kilometre one way (loaded).
Selling Cattle is Not Our Top Priority
Selling cattle is not our priority. Our number one priority is to find good homes with great people for all the cattle we breed and choose to sell. Miniature cattle breeding is a hobby for us, not a big money-making venture. Despite the fact that we spend a lot of time and money on each and every member of our herd, we breed our miniature cattle for the sheer pleasure of it. We also enjoy promoting these beautiful small white cattle and training them as pets.
Where possible, it is better for you and the cattle if you can purchase miniature cattle local to you.
When we do sell our miniature cattle, we sell them in pairs (or ensure that they are going to join a herd). Cattle are herd animals and should not be in a paddock alone.
We do not sell our miniature cattle unless we are 100% confident they are going to a place where they will be well looked after. Well looked after and given a ‘fair go’. See Fair Go Farms for details.
A visitor asking GOLD CREEK Hush if she can cuddle her baby. She found the calf and cuddled him!
Our miniature cattle can be hand-fed, haltered, brushed, petted, kissed and loved to bits – all in the paddock. We are more than happy to spend time with you, before and after you take one of our treasured herd to your home, to help you start this bonding process. In fact, if you take one of our little mates home, you will find our ongoing support is second to none.
Our Prices
Our extra small, seriously quiet miniature cattle sometimes cost a little more but more often than not they don’t! For tips on prices.
Our miniature cattle are specifically bred and trained to make it easy for first-time livestock owners to enjoy owning miniature cattle from day one – this takes time, patience, skill and experience. Purchasing a miniature as a pet is usually a more expensive option initially, but that little bit extra more than pays for itself over time.

Prices will vary depending on the characteristics of the individual miniature, the number and the combination of cattle you purchase from us. We happily subsidise the cost of our highly trained therapy cattle to ensure that these little wonders can go where they are needed most.
We sell well-bred, extremely docile, miniature cattle that are looking to live out their lives as paddock pets. They are all sold with ongoing support and back up – the kind that our first-time livestock owners need to feel confident and happy.
Go to FAQ page for general information on prices (there are ballpark figures to give you an idea).
You will need to provide us with your home phone number if you wish to discuss the price of any particular animal.
Sales Process
Serious Buyers, Please Take Note
We direct you to this information to protect you from disappointment. Sadly, for the buyers, there are always more buyers than there are Miniature White Galloway cattle for sale. We are happier when these things do not end in disappointment or tears (and there have been tears). Our cattle are only withdrawn from sale when a deposit is paid and the receipt is sent to us. No exceptions.
Interest is always strong. By the time we are ready to offer any animal for sale, we usually have “spoken” to quite a few people by email. So, we already know a number of people who are well prepared to look after these cattle and who are ready, willing, and able to pay a deposit the minute any cattle are offered for sale. When we settle on a leaving date and a price, we send emails to those people, letting them know we have decided to sell and giving them the price. After that, it is up to the buyers.
The holding deposit is 20% of the purchase price. Members Equity Bank BSB: 944-600 Account: 007811578.
The minute we receive an email with a bank receipt for the deposit, we withdraw the cattle from sale. Then we email everyone to let them know the cattle are sold.
Deposits are fully refundable. If you visit and discover that the cow/calf/bull you want, is not as described or presented in photographs or video footage, we will refund your deposit in full. This has never been necessary. Never. You have 14 days from the time of the deposit to visit for this purpose. (All visits are weather permitting and we factor that into timelines.)
Although we will give you plenty of time and attention during the sales process, it would be very unusual for us to be talking to only one buyer at any time. This is not sales hype – there are always other buyers ready to jump in, despite our not having a waiting list. Miniature White Galloways are in high demand and there are still only limited numbers of them in Australia.
We will hold cattle for a maximum of 21 days from the payment of a deposit unless other arrangements are made at the time of sale. Payment in full is made on or before pick-up or delivery takes place during that three-week period.
* Please Note: If you choose to organise the transportation yourself, it is your responsibility to ensure the cattle are moved safely from our property to yours and in a timely manner. A holding deposit will not secure the purchase of the cattle indefinitely. If buyers cannot organise transport for the pickup date, we reserve the right to return the deposit.
If you want more information about our sales process, go to Cattle Buyer Information (in the side menu).
