Where Can I Find Venomous Tentacula

In Hogwarts Legacy, the Venomous Tentacula plant is not only vital for combat but also necessary for certain quests. Here’s a detailed guide on locating and cultivating this magical plant on your own.

The game offers a range of classes, with Herbology being notably engaging. Professor Mirabel Garlick’s first assignment involves acquiring a Venomous Tentacula and a Mandrake.

These two magical plants are very powerful items that students can use in combat, with the Venomous Tentacula providing excellent passive damage to enemies over time.

The Venomous Tentacula is known for its spiky branches and venomous properties, while Mandrakes deliver ear-piercing screams that immobilize enemies. This makes both the game’s magical plants incredibly useful, so here’s how you can get your hands on them.

Where to buy Venomous Tentacula seeds in Hogwarts Legacy

In order to field test the Venomous Tentacula and a Mandrake for Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1, you’ll need to acquire some seeds. The Venomous Tentacula and Mandrake can be purchased from Dogweed and Deathcap, which is a magical plant shop located in Hogsmeade.

The shop can be found by heading directly to the north of the village. Once you’ve entered the shop, you’ll be able to purchase Venomous Tentacula seeds from Beatrice Green, who sells them for 1,050 Galleons each.

You can also purchase Mandrake Seeds for 800 Galleons. Combat Tool versions of the Venomous Tentacula and Mandrake can also be bought from Beatrice for 600 and 500 Galleons respectively.

Once you have both plants in hand, simply use them in combat and head back over to Professor Garlick to finish the quest. Upon completion, you’ll be able to unlock Wingardium Leviosa.

How to grow Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy

Thankfully, growing Venomous Tentacula is quite easy in Hogwarts Legacy, though players will need to progress through the story until they unlock the Room of Requirement. Once you have access to it follow the instructions:

  1. Purchase the Large Potting Table conjuration recipe from Tomes and Scrolls.
  2. Return to the Room of Requirement and press RT to use the Conjuration spell.
  3. Go into the Herbology menu and pick the potting table.
  4. Place the table wherever you like.
  5. Aproach the table and interact with it.
  6. Out of all the seeds available, pick the Venomouos Tentacula ones and plant them on the plater.
  7. Wait 15 in-game minutes. You can also add fertilizer to speed up the growing time if you interact with the plater once the seeds are planted.
  8. Once they are fully grown you can collect them.

Thankfully, they can be harvested over and over again so players can stockpile these deadly plants for use in combat.

So, there you have it, that’s everything you need to know about Hogwarts Legacy Venomous Tentacula and how to complete Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1. Be sure to check out our Hogwarts Legacy page for all the latest news and guides.
