   • Phone: Call 888-467-2080 to find an IdentoGO location and schedule an appointment. Use the service code from the online fingerprint portal.

4. When you visit IdentoGO for your appointment, remember to bring your photo ID and payment. The DPS memo (PDF) provides a list of acceptable documents to prove your identity. IdentoGO accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards, business checks, money orders, and coupon codes for employer accounts. Please note that personal checks and cash are not accepted.

5. Your fingerprints will be sent electronically to the DPS and the FBI. No printed fingerprint card will be provided.

2. To request a hard card, you can either fill out a form online or call IdentoGO. Remember to provide the service code from the online fingerprint portal:

   • Online: Visit the IdentoGO website, enter your service code, and click on “Submit a Fingerprint Card by Mail.” You will need to enter the service code received from the online fingerprint portal.
   • Phone: Call 888-467-2080 and inform them that you want to use a hard card. Again, provide the service code received from the online fingerprint portal.

3. IdentoGO will email you a confirmation document.

   Obtain a copy of your fingerprints from a criminal law enforcement agency. Remember to bring your photo ID. You can get fingerprinted on hard FBI cards at a Department of Public Safety office, sheriff’s office, or police station.

5. Complete the FBI fingerprint card by signing it yourself, along with the official taking your fingerprints. Include the TDI ORI number received from the online fingerprint portal.

6. Mail your fingerprints and the confirmation document to IdentoGO. The address can be found on the confirmation document. It’s important not to mail your fingerprints and confirmation document to TDI with your application.

7. IdentoGO will mail a receipt to you. To check the status, visit the IdentoGO website and click on “Check the Status of your Service.”

8. Attach a copy of the receipt to the application you submit, and keep the original receipt for your records.
