The movie revolves around screenwriter, Lucy Hardgrove who gets the opportunity of life after he is asked to write the script for His Merry Wife, a remake of the 1947 classic. As the original movie was filmed in Biltmore, Lucy travels all the way to North Carolina for research but after she knocks an hourglass over, she finds herself transported back to 1947 where she meets the original crew members of the film. However, this time travel will shape her present career and the film’s remake.
