In such a tough life, the only person who looked after him was the doctor at the illegal arena, Oh Young-One.
While Mignon loved the doctor and wanted to get close to him, the doctor kept his distance. It was partly because Mignon’s coach had warned him against getting too attached since it could jeopardize his career. During this back and forth, Mignon happened to learn Young-One’s true identity as a vampire. Despite the doctor trying to push Mignon away, Mignon still tries to pursue his love.
However, one incident completely shakes the trajectory of their dynamic. Mignon catches Young-One drinking human blood while trying to get his gloves before a match. The doctor is a vampire, and this knowledge gradually changes their relationship.
