Where Can You Watch The Golden Bachelor

Twenty-two roses, a couple “I love you’s” and one proposal later, and the first-ever “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner is finally ready to say “I do.”

After widdling down his prospects one by one each week, the charming 72 year-old widower proposed to Theresa Nist during the season finale, which brought in more than 6.1 million viewers — marking not only a series high, but the most-watched episode of any series in the “Bachelor” since 2021. The pair will walk down the aisle on on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Like the episodes before it, the “Golden Wedding” will air on ABC, with the episode kicking off at 8:00 p.m. ET. Cable-cutters can stream the two-hour special in real time through a variety of live TV streamers such as DirecTV, Sling TV and Hulu+ Live TV. The special will also be available to stream the following day on Disney+ and Hulu, currently offering a 7-day free trial.

Jesse Palmer will return to host the special, with fan-favorite contestant Susan Noles, who was eliminated in week 5 of “The Golden Bachelor,” officiating the ceremony.

“The secret is out!” she wrote on Instagram this week. “I’m officiating THE GOLDEN WEDDING and I am beyond excited!”

Nist also told EW that viewers can expect other familiar faces at the wedding. “We want all of the women from ‘The Golden Bachelor’ to be there,” she said. “We don’t know who’s going to be able to make it.”

Turner is a widower with two granddaughters and two daughters. He married his high school sweetheart and had a wonderful life together for 43 years, but in 2017, she suddenly fell ill. Six years after her death, Turner turned to ABC to find love again.

Ahead of the season, Turner told Variety he was hopeful about finding love on television. “At first, I thought, there’s no way. I was really skeptical. But as I’ve thought about it and I’ve seen the process evolve and so forth, I really do think it’s possible. So we’ll see.”

Stream “The Golden Wedding” live on DirecTV Stream, and the next day on Hulu.
