Hotels below are listed from north to south: the northern hotels are closer to San Jose del Cabo (& the airport), while the southern hotels are closer to Cabo San Lucas. My top choices are starred.
- **One & Only Palmilla ($945+/night): Our friend is actually a surf instructor here, & he’s spotted both Gwyneth Paltrow & Jennifer Aniston on the property himself! Rumor has it: this is one of Aniston’s favorite Cabo resorts. The hotel was originally a stunning 15-room home that has been updated into a luxury resort ~ but back in the day, both John Wayne & Lucille Ball stayed here! Oprah has also spent the night here…so you know it’s top-of-the-line.
- **Las Ventanas ($835+/night): This is where true A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, the Kardashians, & Jessica Alba prefer to stay when they’re in Cabo. One draw, particularly for female stars, is the amazing Spa at Las Ventanas ~ but so are the personal butler service, tequila bar, infinity pool, & lazy river. Nearly everyone who stays here absolutely rave reviews!
- Grand Velas Los Cabos ($1,232+/night): Abigail Spencer, Sarah Rafferty, & Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth have all been spotted at this luxury beachfront all-inclusive. It’s not my favorite property on the list….mainly because its massive high-rise building gives off more “Vegas” vibes than relaxed Cabo ones.
- **Esperanza Auberge ($1,500+/night): More celebs have stayed here than you can shake a stick at ~ Fergie & Josh Duhamel vacationed here (back when they were together), Chelsea Handler, Courtney Cox, Sheryl Crow, Jennie Garth, & Will Smith have all *reportedly* stayed here. Ohhh..& Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin honeymooned here, back when they were together. This is a popular spot!
- Waldorf Astoria Pedregal ($1,160+/night): This is the closest hotel to Cabo San Lucas proper ~ so if you’re itching to be close to nightlife: you may want to stay here. The resort itself is peaceful though. Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart & Cole Sprouse have been spotted at the Waldorf, as well as plenty of others who shall not be named….
“When I read reviews for the Waldorf, I was skeptical that it could be so spectacular. But from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left: the experience was absolutely incredible! Our butler, Mariel Gomez, was star of the show ~ making sure absolutely everything was comfortable & arranged for us. The room was spacious, with classic Spanish design & a modern private infinity pool. Multiple balconies with ocean views.
