Where Is Boot Barn

Guests can walk into the new Boot Barn on 22nd Street Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in West Des Moines.

Boot Barn, a Western apparel retailer, is relocating its store in Valley West Mall to a strip mall just over a mile away.

The cowboy and work boot store, also carrying men’s and women’s Western-inspired clothing, closed its mall location in May and moved into a vacancy at Westowne Shopping Center on the corner of 22nd Street and Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. The space formerly housed a Gold’s Gym that closed in 2020.

“We are passionate about the Western lifestyle and being involved in the community, and we have designed our store to reflect this,” Boot Barn’s Des Moines website page says. “Whether you visit us for Western pieces, work gear, or Western fashion, you will easily find curated sections in our store.”
