Fast forward to 2023, reports surfaced that Jessop was battling cancer.
His family opened a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for his treatment.
“It turns out Preston has Chronic Myeloid Leukemia,” the page read.
“The course of action was to have him take some pills that would keep it under control and eventually put it into remission.
“The expectation was that he would need to stay in these pills for 10-15 years.
“He is having serious internal problems, and his numbers are not coming down like they would like them too.”
As of writing, the latest update on Jessop’s health was in July 2023, with the GoFundMe page noting that his white cell count skyrocketed.
However, he is trying his best to “keep positive.”
