Whether they are the deluded followers of Trump or the unhinged enemies of Pope Francis, they need to be watched and resisted.
These people invariably canonise the past and condemn the present.
Altman wants the Church to be the same as it was on the 16th century at the time of his beloved Council of Trent.
The whole theme of the Council of Trent was to condemn, condemn, and condemn.
I think it’s way past time that the Vatican stood up to the Altman types.
The Vatican should simply excommunicat them and let them go off and form their own church and elect their own real pope.
Maybe our very own Robert Nugent could represent that new church in Ireland?
