Where Is Lud Foe From

Lud Foe, the Chicago drill rapper who gained viral fame in 2016 with his hardcore rap songs, has had a tumultuous journey in the music industry. Despite the ups and downs, recent activity on an alternate Twitter account suggests that Lud Foe may be preparing for a return to the limelight.

After a horrific car accident in 2017 that left Lud Foe with severe injuries, Lud Foe released new music and made a comeback. However, he later faced challenges, including a social media disappearance and claims made by a former associate.

Lud Foe burst onto the music scene in 2016, gaining recognition for his hardcore drill rap songs. Collaborations with notable artists like Lil Durk propelled him to fame, and his mixtape “No Hooks” further solidified his position in the industry.

However, in March 2017, the Chicago native experienced a devastating car crash. The planned follow-up to the mixtape was titled No Hooks II, which was released in 2018. This claim took place in late 2017, months after the accident.

The “In and Out” rapper went on a media tour after the accident, taking interviews with multiple rap media outlets such as Genius, Durrty Daily, and Dj Small Eyez. In an interview with Genius, Lud Foe spoke about the incident. According to the rapper, he and the truck driver were involved in a road rage situation.

Lud Foe attempted to speed away from the truck, but the driver turned his wheel, causing Lud Foe to hit the brakes aggressively. This led to his car spinning out of control and flipping down the highway. According to the No Hooks II artist, his car flipped around eight to nine times.

Lud Foe stated that he broke his jaw and wrists in the accident. At one point, the rapper even recorded songs with his jaw wired shut. Miraculously surviving the accident, Lud Foe released an album titled “Get Well Foe” just weeks later, showcasing his resilience and determination.

Following the release of subsequent albums like No Hooks II and “Boochie Gang,” Lud Foe unexpectedly went on a social media hiatus, cleaning up his Instagram page and becoming inactive on Twitter. This disappearance left fans wondering what happened to the viral sensation.

Lud Foe occasionally dropped singles during this period, subtly indicating his presence through Twitter activity, but remained relatively silent.

While Lud Foe faced personal and professional challenges, including the impact of the pandemic and a dip in popularity, he also encountered claims made by a former associate named SG Batman. SG Batman asserted that he and others used to write for Lud Foe and that fans would never see the “old Lud Foe” again.

These claims added another layer of complexity to Lud Foe’s journey, leaving fans with unanswered questions about his authenticity as an artist.

In 2020, Lud Foe released the album Guns Up Funds Up, featuring collaborations with well-respected Chicago drill artists. However, the album succeeded differently than his earlier music, partly due to his diminished social media presence.

Fans started speculating about a potential comeback, and recent previews of new music further fueled their anticipation. With the craziness of the pandemic, it went under the radar that Lud Foe was back active on an older alternate Twitter page.

On this new page, Lud Foe posted snippets and clips of himself inside the studio. In one viral tweet from July 2022, the rapper simply said: “I’m Back.”

In recent months, Lud Foe has shown signs of activity on his alternate Twitter account, sharing snippets of upcoming music and working in the studio. Nowadays, the rapper can be seen previewing upcoming music and working in the studio on this less popular Twitter account.

As recently as May 8th, the Chicago drill rapper posted a captionless video to his Twitter. In the video, the rapper can be seen recording in the studio. Though it has been nearly three years since his last release, Lud Foe’s recent engagement with fans and new music preview suggests that a comeback may be on the horizon.

Supporters eagerly anticipate the return of the viral Chicago sensation, hoping to witness his next chapter in the music industry.

In response to claims of irrelevance and falling off, artists and rappers have often defended themselves against such criticisms. An American rapper, Jermaine Dupri addressed similar claims during an interview on the I AM ATHLETE podcast.
