Where Is Ruby Franke Husband

Ruby Franke’s estranged husband wants the disgraced mommy vlogger to get the maximum prison time Tuesday as she faces up to 60 years for “horrific and inhumane” child abuse.

Kevin Franke’s attorney relayed his wishes as his vlogger wife and her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, are sentenced Tuesday, having pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse.

“We trust the judge to sentence them both to one to 15 years for each of the four counts, to run consecutively, and let the Utah State Board of Pardons decide if that should be shortened or other conditions imposed,” the husband’s attorney, Randy Kester, told Law & Crime.

“The treatment these children received at the hands of those whom the children had a right to trust was horrific and inhumane, both physically and psychologically,” the lawyer added.

“Kevin remains focused on the rehabilitation of these sweet and vulnerable children so that they might return to a normal life as soon as possible,” he said.

The father has filed for divorce from the former “8 Passengers” YouTube host and is hoping to regain custody of their six children.

He is also seeking to have Hildebrandt, 54, pay for their children’s recovery — in part from the proceeds of her $5.1 million home, which she has listed for sale.

“The children remain in professional care for the aggravated psychological and emotional injuries suffered,” Franke argued in court documents.

“It is clear and admitted that the children suffered immediate and continuing irreparable harm as a result of the crimes perpetrated upon them by this Defendant.”

The father went on to argue that it would be “completely inequitable” for him to be left to pay for his children’s care.

Hildebrandt pleaded guilty to child abuse on Dec. 27.

In her plea, she admitted to forcing a boy to remain outside at all hours of the day, causing sunburns, regularly binding the boy’s hands and feet and forcing a girl to jump into a cactus multiple times.

Ruby Franke, 42, also pleaded guilty to the child abuse charges — admitting that she tortured her 12-year-old son by making him work outdoors for hours from May 22 through Aug. 30 and bound his feet when he tried to escape.

She also made the pre-teen work in the heat without enough water until he had “repeated and serious sunburns,” and physically attacked him.

The mother also admitted to abusing her 9-year-old daughter, forcing her to complete physical tasks and denying her food and water.

Franke admitted to child abuse in a plea deal, but has claimed she was influenced by Hildebrandt. AP

Franke told her two children that the torture they endured were “acts of love,” and that they were both “evil and possessed.”

She and Hildebrandt were finally arrested on Aug. 30 after her 12-year-old boy managed to escape Hildebrandt’s home in Ivins, Utah.

The boy went to the home of a neighbor, who said the child was emaciated, had tape around his legs and was “covered in wounds,” according to the 911 call released by cops.

Ruby Franke’s defense attorney, LaMar Winward, has since claimed his client was influenced by Hildebrandt.

He said Hildebrandt allegedly “systematically isolated” Franke from her extended family, her older children and her husband.

“Ruby Franke is a devoted mother and is also a woman committed to constant improvement,” Winward Law said in a statement.

Franke initially believed that Hildebrandt “had the insight to offer a path to continual improvement,” but Hildebrandt “took advantage of this quest and twisted it into something heinous,” he said.
