Objectives:
- Find the Horse Spot
- Return Spot to Lester
Starting Location: Spotting Spot
After repairing the mini stable in Lookout Landing (Side Quest: The Incomplete Stable), talk to the same quest giver again to get this follow-up quest. If it’s not available right away, check back after making more story progress. You may need some progress in Main Quest: Regional Phenomena and potentially need to have caught a Horse too.
Find the Horse ‘Spot’
The quest giver, Lester, wants you to bring back his horse called Spot.
The horse is found just a few meters/yards south-west of Lookout Landing in the meadow. It should be in the nearest group of horses. Spot has white skin, black dots, and black mane. This is what he looks like:
Crouch by pressing the Left Stick and sneak up from behind. Tilt the left stick forward only very slightly to move more slowly, otherwise the horse might run away when you get too close. When you’re behind the horse press to mount it, then to tame it.
Return Spot to Lester
Ride back to the quest giver in Lookout Landing. You can talk to him from the horse by pressing + . As a reward you get 50 rupees, a Swift Carrot, and you get to keep the unique Horse “Spot”. It also unlocks the Mini Stable in Lookout Landing. You can talk to Lester again to park Spot at the stable and make him your horse permanently. He has pretty good stats.
This finishes Spotting Spot Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
