Get as far as the Adamantine Forge and you’ll find that there’s a massive machine. This machine can craft you three types of armor, but to do so you’ll need to fix the stuck lava valve.

And, fortunately, doing so is pretty straightforward. Here’s how to fix the stuck lava valve in the Adamantine Forge in Baldur’s Gate 3, with a more in-depth explanation below:

Find a Mould from around the Underdark or Grymforge.
Insert the Mould into the coffin-looking vessel in the center of the Adamantine Forge.
Insert a piece of Mithril Ore into the Crucible.
Pull the lever at the edge of the Adamantine Forge.
Once the platform lowers turn on the stuck lava valve.
It will now be unstuck!

Moulds are scattered across the area, but the easiest to find are those that are near the Adamantine Forge waypoint. As for Mithril Ore, there are two located not far from the Adamantine Forge, which are marked here on the map.

To insert the Mithril Ore, press the Mould Chamber. A menu will pop up. Next, open your inventory and find the Mithril Ore. It will be on the character you used to pick it up. Drag the Mithril Ore into the menu box, then press insert.
