While in LA, I got to do some really cool things. One of which was visiting the set of ABC’s show, The Middle and meeting most of its cast.
The day before our set visit, I actually had the chance to meet and chat with Patricia Heaton, who plays Frankie (the mom) on The Middle (I’ll post about that later) so I was excited to see where all the magic happens.
On The Middle set we were introduced to the set decorator Julie Fanton who gave us the tour of the Heck Household. The Middle is actually filmed in what looks like an actual house! Wall moves and the ceilings can come off for filming, it was so cool!
They even have a junk drawer in their kitchen.
I love how detail oriented everything was, especially the correct address on the mail you see around the house. 
The calendar stays current and is filled with events and appointments

Even the hallways had their pictures
While I hate mirror selfies (I really, really do), I couldn’t resist taking one in The Middle’s bathroom (don’t judge me).
The ducks in front of the house get outfit changes as well
Mike (Neil Flynn) & Axl (Charile McDermott) were nice enough to stop by and chat with us. They were so sweet!
After the group photo, I asked for a picture with each of them individually and they so nicely said “yes”.
Neil even offered to take the picture of Charlie and me.

As if all that wasn’t cool enough, Brick (Atticus Shaffer) stopped by and took a picture with us as well.
He was also very sweet, especially when I sort of dropped my cell phone on his lap. What can I say, of course that would happen to me.
But wait there’s more….while we were snapping our pictures with Mike & Axl, Jack McBrayer walked in but snuck away while we were taking pics (I don’t blame him).
