But, Eli’s mansion is one that you can visit on your tour of “The Righteous Gemstones” filming locations in Charleston. Eli’s mansion is Fenwick Hall on Johns Island. According to reports, Fenwick Hall is currently privately owned and not open to the public; however, you can visit the entrance to the property off of Maybank Highway to get a feel for the Gemstones’ “compound” in real life.
Location: 30 Fenwick Hall Allee, Johns Island, SC
9. Poplar Grove Equestrian Center (Ravenel)
While you’re on the west side of town, you can visit the location of the “Texas” ranch where the Gemstones meet Joe Jonas. This scene was filmed at the Poplar Grove Equestrian Center in Ravenel, just a short drive past Johns Island down Highway 17. The show added lots of decorations (and longhorns) for filming, but you’ll easily recognize the building and gravel roads that appeared in the show and the Season 2 trailer.
Location: 4942 County Line Road, Ravenel, SC
10. Liberty Tap Room (Mount Pleasant)
The restaurant that the Gemstones regularly visit after church is the former Liberty Tap Room in Mount Pleasant. While this is no longer an actual restaurant in real life, you can visit the building to take photos during your tour of the Gemstones filming locations in Charleston.
Location: 1028 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC
11. Sticky Fingers (Mount Pleasant)
Sticky Fingers (which also is no longer in business) was another Mount Pleasant restaurant used as a filming location for The Righteous Gemstones in Charleston. For the show, the restaurant was renamed Sticky Stephen’s. It appeared as a barbecue joint (just like the old restaurant) in Season 2.
Location: 916 Houston Northcutt Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC
12. Sky Zone (Mount Pleasant)

14. Gaillard Center (Downtown Charleston)
The Gaillard Center in downtown Charleston features prominently in several scenes in Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones. It’s grand façade has been featured in several other movies and televisions shows as well. 15. St. Phillips Island (Beaufort)
While it’s a decent drive from Charleston, St. Phillips Island near Beaufort is well worth the visit. While you can drive most of the way, you’ll need to buy a ferry ticket to get onto the island.

Location: 5000 Lackawanna Boulevard, North Charleston, SC
18. Lebanon Quick Stop (Ridgeville)
Like St. Phillips Island, this filming location requires a bit more of a drive, but it’s worth it to revisit one of the more memorable scenes from Season 2. Location: 3147 State Road, Ridgeville, SC
19. El Molino (West Ashley)
In a scene that appears likely still to come in Season 3 (HBO has only released Episodes 1 and 2 so far), The Righteous Gemstones staged what appears to be a natural disaster in the parking lot of El Molino in West Ashley. We’re curious to see how this fits into the Season 3 plot line.

20. Main Street (Moncks Corner)
For the final stop on our tour of “The Righteous Gemstones” filming locations in Charleston, we’ll pick another one that we’re expecting to see in Season 3. According to news reports, the show filmed on Main Street in Moncks Corner in late 2022. This would put the scene somewhere in Season 3, and it appears likely to be a nighttime scene, as local roads were closed between 6:00pm and 6:00am in November.
