How do you complete Ready Player Fun in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Following helping Vanellope settle into the Valley in Extreme Biome Makeover, the beginning of Ready Player Fun will have you spend time with Vanellope doing various chores in the Valley. You’ll have to complete the following activities with Vanellope in order to progress the quest:

  • Catch five fish
  • Mine three gems
  • Plant 30 crops
  • Harvest 30 crops or fruit

Once you’ve done this, speak to Vanellope, who’ll ask if you can do something more interesting together. This will begin a game of hide and seek with Vanellope, which can be quite challenging if you don’t know where to look. When Vanellope goes to hide, you’ll first have to make your way to Scrooge McDuck’s shop before you begin your hunt.

How to find Vanellope in Hide and Seek

Once you’ve entered the shop, you can begin looking for Vanellope. To find Vanellope, ask each of Nala, Mickey, and Mirabel for hints on where Vanellope is hiding. In return, they will return the following guidance:

  • Vanellope is not near the Mystical Cave in Dazzle Beach.
  • Vanellope is hiding in a dark place that also happens to be in a sunny place.
  • Vanellope’s scent was picked up somewhere dark and dusty in the Sunlit Plateau.

From these hints, you can deduce that Vanellope is hiding in the Vitalys Mines in the Sunlit Plateau. As you enter the mines, this revelation will be confirmed to the player as you can follow a trail of candy to Vanellope’s hiding space.

After finding Vanellope, she’ll ask to do some fishing with you. You’ll be set the challenge of catching three fish in three minutes, which shouldn’t be too tight of a time window given enough fishing spots spawn in the nearby river. Return to Vanellope with your three fish, and you’ll finish the Ready Player Fun quest.
