Sheets and towels are some of the bare essentials for our daily lives. It may seem small, but these are items we use every day from the moment we wake up to the time we go back to bed.
Household Goods provides good quality sheets and towels free of charge to individuals and families in need. Your sheets and towels donations can support those people in need to build a home.

Where Do Your Sheets and Towels Go?
When Household Goods receives your donated sheets and towels, they will be provided, free of charge, to people in need. Those people include:
- Recently homeless
- Veterans
- Fleeing domestic violence
- Children, youth or elderly in need of services
- Living with disability or illness
- Victims of fire
- Families trying to get by on minimum wage
Any Limitations of Donating Sheets and Towels?
All sheets, towels, and other bed linens should be clean and in good condition.
However, we cannot accept items that are torn or stained. We also do not accept electric blankets or mattress toppers.

In addition to your sheets, we also encourage you to donate mattresses, bed frames, box spring, bunk beds, bed pillows to help people in need make a home. You can find a complete list of donation guidelines here.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE LIGHT ENOUGH TO BE CARRIED BY TWO PEOPLE.

Household Goods is located at 530 Main Street, Acton, MA 01720.

We have a need for all items, especially sheets, towels, housewares, pots and pans, and dishes. Please consider selecting something from our Amazon Wish List and having it shipped to us.

Household Goods has a limited pick-up service staffed mainly by volunteers for larger items. Learn more about our pick-up service here.
Please note we have a drop box container for the local non profit More Than Words for books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, & video games located in our parking lot. We also have an Epilepsy Foundation drop box for clothing donations located in our parking lot.
If we do not accept your item or are out of your area, please check our list of other other organizations.
Household Goods Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations to our organization are tax deductible. Our federal tax ID number is 04-3468139.
We will provide you with an itemized receipt of your donations for tax purposes. We do not place a value on donated items. To help estimate the value of your donation you can check out the Salvation Army Guide, IRS Guide or Goodwill Valuation Guide.
