Where To Find Splash Fruit

Cooking and collecting ingredients is one of the most important aspects of The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom’s moment-to-moment gameplay loop. Much like the previous game in the series, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, the new title features a plethora of ingredients that you can collect and use to craft some really unique recipes.

One such very useful ingredient that you will need for some of the recipes in the game is the Splash Fruit. Here’s a comprehensive guide on where to find the Splash Fruit in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

The Splash Fruit can be found in abundance in the eastern regions of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Splash Fruit in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom can be found all over the open-world map of Hyrule. However, if you’re looking for a specific region to farm the ingredient, you can head out towards the eastern part of Hyrule, i.e., essentially around the Lanayru region of the map; it is here that you can find the Splash Fruit in abundance.

Just across the Millennio Sandbar, where you can confront a White Lionel (although we recommend not doing so unless you have access to end-game level weapons and armor or are quite proficient with parrying and dodging), you will reach the Lanayru Wetlands, where you can find plenty of Splash Fruits. Another good spot to farm Splash Fruits is the plateau near the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.

The Splash Fruit trees can be identified by the shape of their leaves and the dangling fruits that seem oddly big compared to the slender wooden bark of the tree. You can grab the gourd-shaped Splash Fruits by approaching the tree and pressing the “A” button on the JoyCon controller. Each tree usually has two or three Splash Fruits; thus, getting them from the trees is the best way to farm these ingredients.

You can also buy these fruits at the vendor in Kakariko Village. Splash Fruit is used in crafting recipes like the Rapid Simmered Food, which you can use to heal Link’s health or gain temporary frost resistance, which comes in handy when traversing the freezing cold mountains of Hyrule. Additionally, you can consume raw Splash Fruit to gain temporary frost resistance.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is now available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
