The Season 4 update for Call of Duty has gone live and with it, a plethora of new content has been introduced. From the new Vondel map to two new weapons being added with the Season 4 Battle Pass, players have a ton of content to consume over the course of the next few weeks.
The two weapons that are getting the most attention are the Tempus Razorback and ISO 45, though some players are wondering if there are other ways to obtain them, like in DMZ.

In the past, players have been able to extract certain seasonal weapons from DMZ by either killing a boss or finding the gun in a specific spot on a map. Today, I will be explaining if there is a way to obtain the Tempus Razorback through DMZ or if players are forced to work through the Battle Pass to earn it.
Getting the Tempus Razorback in DMZ
First and foremost, you can obtain the Tempus Razorback by reaching Sector D13 in the Season 4 Battle Pass. The Tempus Razorback is on a free tier, meaning that players don’t have to spend a penny in order to acquire it. All they need to do is earn enough Battle Pass Tokens through playing the game to reach its sector.

Now, is there an alternative way to get the Tempus Razorback through DMZ? Yes and no. In previous seasons, players have been able to load into a match of DMZ with a friend who already has a new weapon unlocked. In this scenario, that friend would need to spawn into the match with the Razorback as their primary weapon. Then, they would need to drop the weapon on the ground for you to pick up and add to your inventory.
From here, you can simply extract with the Tempus Razorback, and it would be unlocked for you in DMZ and any other game mode, like multiplayer or battle royale. Of course, this requires you to have a friend with the Tempus Razorback unlocked and a willingness to drop it to you.
Beyond that, I have not found any way of acquiring the Tempus Razorback through DMZ. Although, it’s possible that killing a certain boss will make it possible to extract with the new AR. We just have to wait and see.
